Flock Web Browser = Awesome!

So I downloaded Flock web browser yesterday because I have heard a lot of good things about it… I am pleasantly surprised!  The browser is basically Firefox without the memory leak problems that can bring your web browsing session to a screeching halt.

The beauty of Flock is that it comes standard with tons of awesome features that a typical Firefox user would need a memory intensive extension to have.

1) My World start page
The “My World” start page is a nice little start-page that contains your Favorites, RSS feeds, and access to the other cool flock tools all in one place.

2) People Sidebar
The People Sidebar is your in-browser connection to the social networking world.  Login to Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, or YouTube and get instant access to all of your social networking goodies in your sidebar.  Pretty awesome stuff!

3) My Media Bar
My Media Bar opens at the top of the browser and contains Media streams for whatever page your visiting at the time… If you’re on your friends facebook page, you will see all of their images lined at the top of the browser for you to browse.

4) Feeds Bar
The Feeds bar serves as a list of RSS feeds for you to choose from.  It’s clean and simple to use.

5) Favorites Bar
Pretty much your typical favorites sidebar here, but one cool addition is that you can setup online favorites that basically sync with the Flock server to give you access to your favorites from any computer.

6) Accounts and Services Bar
Serves as a single location for your sidebar account information including your people, media sharing, blogging, and online favorites.

7) Web Clipboard
One of the cooler features of Flock is the Web Clipboard where you can drag images and text selections to save for later use.

8.) Blog Editor
Another awesome feature is the blog editor… even if you don’t use one of the blog services listed in the drop down, you can put in your blog url and credentials and then blog from anywhere in your browser seamlessly. Actually, I’m using the Blog Editor right now to write this!

9) Photo Uploader
Want to upload some photos to a site?  Use the photo uploader… upload in bulk by folder, or single files… either way, this is an awesome feature!

10) NO FIREFOX MEMORY LEAKS AND CRASHES!
Enough said… Flock actually takes care of the common memory leaks and crashes that Firefox users commonly endure.

So without further rambling, DOWNLOAD FLOCK and see what I’m talking about!

With the release of Adobe’s CS3 Suite just around the corner, I thought I would touch on some of the features of CS3 and CS3 Extended.

Photoshop CS3
Photoshop CS3 includes all of the features of Photoshop CS2 with the addition of many innovative new elements that continue to raise the industry standard. New features such as automatic layer alignment and blending that enable advanced compositing really set Photoshop CS3 apart from Adobe’s previous releases. With this feature you can create panoramic or compilations of images more easily than ever before. Photoshop CS3 also comes to the table with live filters that increase creative flexibility and a streamlined interface with time saving tools to help increase your productivity.

Photoshop CS3 is ideal for Photographers, Graphic Designers, Web Designers, and Print Service Providers.

Photoshop CS3 Extended
Photoshop CS3 Extended delivers everything that Photoshop CS3 offers plus a bundle of extras for all of the extra creative designers out there. With Photoshop CS3 Extended, you can render and include your 3D images into your 2D composites. Another new feature is the ability to easily edit motion graphics on your video layers. Photoshop CS3 Extended also includes in-depth image measurement, analysis, and visualization tools that give way to a multitude of new design opportunities.

Photoshop CS3 Extended is ideal for Film/Video/Multimedia Professionals, Graphic and Web Designers using 3D and Motion, Manufacturing Professionals, Medical Professionals, Architects and Engineers, and Scientific Researchers.

If you are interested in trying out Photoshop CS3 (basic, not extended), you can download the Photoshop CS3 Beta.

Today I am proud to announce that Noob Flash will be moving to a new hosting provider within the next 7-14 days. Currently we are using GoDaddy.com. While we have had no problems with GoDaddy, we have looked into other hosting providers and found that 1&1 has much better packages and services for the price than GoDaddy.

Want 3 Free Domain Names? Keep reading… :)

One of the best features of 1&1 is the 3 FREE domains you get with the $9.99/mo hosting account. If you want to buy more than 3 domains, it’s only 5.99 a year per domain! That is $3 a domain cheaper than GoDaddy! Plus, with GoDaddy you have to purchase one hosting account per domain you wanted to host. With 1&1, you can host many domains on one hosting account. So for $9.99/mo, you could host 20 domains. That’s a savings of over $100 compared to GoDaddy!

Another thing that is great about 1&1 is the massive amount of free services they offer. For $9.99/mo 1&1 offers:

Free private registration
3 Free domain names
200 subdomains
100 external domain hosting
250GB of Web Space
2,500GB of Monthly Bandwidth
25 FTP Accounts
2,500 Email Accounts
2GB of Mailbox Space
Support for IMAP & Pop 3

$50 Yahoo Search Marketing Credit
$50 Citysearch Credit

The amount of services these guys offer is mind-boggling. Check Out 1&1 Web Hosting, or use the form below to find a domain name.
